This has to be one the most hideous presents you could ever give a baker or a chef. Not only is revolting to watch it, but it is actually very practical. This funny looking little piece of pottery is an egg seperator, used to seperate the egg yolk from the egg white. Just drop in an egg, lean it forward and Peter Petrie drips the egg whites from his nose (looks like snot) and leaves a perfect yolk inside the dish.
